"Shepard."
Kaylee Shepard froze as she heard her name. That voice, so rich and deep, brought back so many strong emotions she had thought she'd buried and she had to fight to keep her face from betraying her. The growing crease in Vega's brow line let her know that she had failed and with a deep sigh she turned to face the man she had sworn never to let go.
"Kaidan."
They locked eyes and despite the time they had spent apart, Shepard still had the uncanny ability to read Kaidan like a book. She could see the hurt in his eyes as he searched her face for some sign of forgiveness.
Debris and ash swirled around Aylin's face and through her auburn hair as she stared up where the Chantry had stood moments ago. Her blood pounded in her ears as the full gravity of what had just happened hit her. Through the blood rush she could barely make out the shouting of her companions.
"Elthina!!! NOOOOO!!!"
"Anders!!
What in the name of the Maker have you done?!"
"This just proves how dangerous you mages can be!"
Aylin turned to face the sources of the yelling. Sebastian had been brought to his knees, angry tears flowing down his flushed cheeks. First Enchanter Orsino was standing mere inches from Ander's face, his usually compos
The warm winds of the Dantooine afternoon floated through the tall grasses, sending rippling waves through the fields surrounding the Jedi conclave. Jedi Master Vandar stood on a balcony overlooking the fields, eyes closed, listening to the sounds of two jedi sparring out in the grass. Andromeda had excelled extremely quickly during her training, and had become a Master well before she was expected to. Still at the young age of twenty-five, her fast progression worried some of the council members. They felt that her naivety would compromise her judgment. Cullen closed his eyes as he felt the warm breath of the mage's words against his cheek and ear.
"Aaliyah "
As much as he knew this was wrong, a templar falling for a mage, he found that he could not stop himself. He had grown to care for her far more then he would care to admit. She slowly pulled herself back from Cullen, allowing him to fully take in her beauty. Soft auburn curls that were usually tied into a bun fell loosely around her face, framing the golden green eyes that pierced his soul. He slowly brought his hands up, gently cupping her face and moving it towards his own.

When Alistair came to, the first thing he felt was the cold, unforgiving stone floor digging into his hip. He rolled onto his back and immediately sat up at the cold sting of stone against bare skin. He realized all too soon that this was the wrong move, as his head began to throb and the floor seemed to violently lurch beneath him.
"Holy Maker, what happened and why am I naked?!" To his shock, Alistair found himself clad only in a cloth that covered his most private region. As the room around him began to steady, the memories started coming back, and the harsh reality set in.

The day had started out like any other. The Commander had gotten up, prepped for the mission, gathered the team, and made sure they were briefed. Alliance Command had forwarded the mission reports a few days earlier, and now that the ship was finally in the right cluster, the Commander was more than ready to get this over with. It was another one of those, "you're the only one that can complete this," load of political shit.
"Honestly," said the commander, "there has to be at least a hundred rookies out there that could do this with their eyes closed."
"Commander?"

Alistair slowly pushed himself back up onto his feet. Movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention and he turned to find Wynne attempting to stand up. He quickly made his way over to her and helped her back onto her feet.
"Thank you."
Confusion crossed her features and she turned toward Alistair.
"Where's Anna?"
Panic flooded Alistair's mind as he realized where they were. He whirled around to find the Archdemon lying dead on the g

It has seriously taken over my life..... I'm slightly ashamed to admit how emotionally invested in this series I am already but hey at least I'm not alone, right? .....Right? I mean seriously! The feelings! And the cuteness that is Bolin! and the pure awesomeness that is Korra! And the friggen sexiness that is Mako! :squee: (I'm not even going to start with how in love I am with a child's cartoon character) UGH! CANNOT HANDLE ALL THE EMOTION! :faint:
Similarly to many Mass Effect and Bioware fans I went through a period of being mad and frustrated at the way Mass Effect 3 ended. As time has passed, and I've gained perspective, I feel that Bioware did an incredible job with the ending. In all honesty a happy ending wouldn't have made sense. I think it would be nice to have the endings added to simply for the purpose of granting a little more clarity and closure but as a whole I think that the game, and the ending, were constructed beautifully. These 3 games have taken me on an emotional ride I have never experienced anywhere else. So thank you Bioware for providing me with an incredib
After that new ME3 cinematic trailer was released I haven't stopped completely freaking out in excitement!! After years of waiting we only need to hold out for less than 2 weeks! In all honesty though it's going to be a VERY long 2 weeks. Hopefully, there will be plenty of video-viewing and art-browsing to tide me over for these last 13 days...Here's to hoping for a very full social life to all of you in the next 2 weeks because I'm fairly certain very few of us will have one after March 6th ;)
